When choosing a topic to publish your online newsletter on,
you must consider the following crucial factors, so much so
they can actually determine your future success in eZine
publishing and marketing.
Factor #1: Non-time Sensitive Content

Look, you want to create content in advance so that you can
relax later on and dispense to your subscribers at your own
convenience.
Obviously, the latest news on TV and football scores count
out of this. You want to be able to compile weeks of content
ahead in a day or two.
Therefore, non-time sensitive information such as facts,
articles and case studies make good content for your eZine
publishing.
Factor #2: Starving Demand

While there are a variety of newsletters published on the
Internet (some of them being the insults and jokes eZine), you
will do well to cater to a starving market that will always be
on demand for the kind of content you offer.
Examples include Internet Marketing niches such as Resell
Rights and Affiliate Marketing, Relationship niches such as
dating and building relationships, and Food niches such as
recipes.
Factor #3: Products You Can Endorse

Having said that, you also want to have a steady stream of
products or services you can endorse as your own or as an
affiliate to your mailing list for profits.
This is otherwise impossible if you would have run an eZine
on obscure topics or subjects where products are created rather
less.
Factor #4: Advertisers
=======================
Today, advertisers are getting more and more savvy. In other
words, advertisers would rather advertise in "focused" eZines
where their prospects are than to go all out blindly in a
general eZine.
For example, an advertiser who sells products on
relationships would find it wiser to advertise in a
"relationships" eZine rather than the "jokes" eZine, regardless
if the "jokes" eZine has more readers or not.
