Take the daily paper you read in the morning for example.

The newspaper publisher has to hire reporters, writers and other important staff to create the up-to-date content for the next day.

The publisher also has to invest regularly in heavy duty machineries and loads of papers (and trees!) in printing tons of newspapers on a daily basis.

He simply sells advertising space to advertisers!

And he is able to sell a long range of ads with different quotes and pricings (we're talking about thousands of dollars even per ad), owing to the high level of readership the newspaper publication has fetched.
